I am thankful for who I am, where I have been and where I will take myself next. I’m a California girl willing to take a challenge and ready to live my life on the next wave. This is the first year in 19 years Becky Underhill and I ate dinner by ourselves and my grandma of course. I am thankful for my crazy grandma and her straightforwardness. I am thankful for a husband who supports my ideas and eats my cooking and loves me unconditionally. I am thankful for a 19 yr old who believes life should be celebrated and taking journeys around the world is as easy as buying a plane ticket and figuring out where to make a party. I’m thankful I have a 16yr old whose ideas and thoughts can be lost in a Pittsburgh airport ready to watch the game. I’m thankful for a 12 yr old son who believes that he can change the world and make a difference with a computer and hi speed internet. Lastly I’m thankful for my 3 babies running the house and having me wonder who is my sane, me or them. Whatever your thankful today, you should be thankful for tomorrow and the days after that. This Cali girl is out!November 12 2014 Happy Veteran’s Day to those who have served and continuing serving. I never thought my life would change so much in my 20 years. I met two of my BFF’s, Jennifer Ball and Ashley Arnold Levesque, and a brother Chad Wise. We all have given up those special days to be in some place we can’t discuss. But we did the job anyways. When you go to the VA hospital and you hear the stories of those Vets and see the smiles on their face when you talk to them, you realize that life really wasn’t all that bad. In fact it was pretty damn good! Thanks for the memories to everyone I ever served with and everyone I ever got in trouble with because we were unstoppable and still are. Love, hugs, kisses and chicken grease to all my crew.Robin will be truly missed everyday but as she would say “life goes on,,,whatever” Our family takes comfort in our loving memories and knowing that she will never leave us.Do not stand at my grave and weep.I am not there, I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rainWhen you awaken in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at nightDo not stand at my grave and cry I am not there. I did not die!We all love you so much and miss you everyday – you will always be in our hearts!
