Jeff and Linda Chang Lowe: I, Linda, remember with appreciation and fondness Ron and Meijean Chan hosting our youth group in their home when I was in junior high. One particularly significant evening they hosted a game and karaoke party. Afterwards I noted in my diary that some new kids from Pasadena had come down to visit them and joined in the fun. Their names were Virgene, Jeff and Roger Lowe. Years later Jeff and I met again at Westmont College and married in our senior year. Five years after we married, I found the diary entry. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary! Thank you, Ron and Meijean!
Fair winds and following seas
Ron made me a beautiful Hawaiian Lei of carnations for my 50th birthday luau. I know he spent hours doing it. I will not forget that kindness. Meijean is a sweetheart. Their marriage I'm sure has many memories to comfort hearts during this sorrow.
I sang with Ron in The Pacific Mens Chorale for several years and enjoyed knowing him. A very personable individual, it was both fun and informative to be with him. He will be missed by many. Alan Isaacson
