Ronne Jack Padilla Sr. died peacefully in his home on November 4th, 2017 in Lemon Grove, California at the age of 69.Ronne Padilla Sr. is survived by his mother, Arabella Padilla of Denver, Colorado; wife, Shari Padilla of Lemon Grove, California; children, Wendy Padilla of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, Ronne Jack Padilla Jr. of Palm Desert, California, Benjamin Padilla of El Cajon, California, step-son Erik Duggie of Lakeside, California, step-son Ryan Stuchlik, and step-daughter Ashley Gross ; grandchildren, Breana Brandt, Kayla Sizemore, Ronne J Padilla III, Marissa Millen-Eisner, Zoe Padilla, Nathan Duggie, Justin Duggie, Jordan Duggie, and Makenna Stuchlik; and several nieces and nephews.Ronne Jack Padilla Sr. was born on April 9th, 1948 in Denver Colorado to Arturo Padilla and Arabella Padilla. Ronne served in the Navy from June 10th, 1967 to September 19th, 1971. Ronne married Belva Allen in July 1967 in San Diego, California. Ronne began working for Pacific Bell as a lineman in the early 1973 and retired in September 23, 2002. Ronne coached adult soccer in San Diego, California where he met Deborah Duggie in 1977 and whom he married July 1st, 1995 in San Diego, California. After Deborah Padilla died in 2001, Ronne began to visit the American Legion where he met Shari October 2006, whom he married on October 20th, 2015 in San Diego, California.Ronne loved his family and looked forwarded to seeing his grandchildren when they would visit him. Ronne used to tell his son Ben, that as a father Ronne always tried to give his children more than he had when he was a child and he wanted his children to give their children (Ronne’s grandchildren) more than he could give them. Before Ronne retired, he loved playing pool, softball, camping, traveling to New Mexico and Denver to visit relatives, and spending time with family and friends. After Ronne retired he began performing karaoke at the VFW La Mesa and Wong’s Dragon Room a few nights a week. Ronne would also dress up as Santa Clause during the Christmas holiday at the American Legion and help give presents to service families and families in need.His Celebration of Life is scheduled for 4:30 pm on November 17, 2017 at the American Legion in La Mesa, California. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Ronne Jack Padilla Sr.’s life.
