Born August 10, 1931 in Sinaloa,Mexico
A beautiful mother, grandmother and cherished Sister.
Rosa Albina was the eldest daughter of Esther Rodriquez and Agustin Uriarte. She passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the city of San Diego California, at the age of 94.
Rosa Albina was an exceptional mother to her 5 children, Jose Luis, Maria Esther, Carlos Alfredo, Miguel Alberto and Victor Manuel. She was blessed with five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Not only was she a great and exceptional mother but she also was a marvelous cook. Rosa loved to cook and prepare delicious food dishes for her children and family. Every time you went to her house there was always something delicious and tasty to eat: cochinita pivil, tamales, menudo, posole, barbacoa, and her famous frijolitos con chile, that everyone wanted to take home.
As the big sister Rosa loved to spend time with her family and enjoy the company of her children, brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces that love to visit her to see her cook, eat and enjoy her food.
Rosa’s way of showing love was through her delicious cooking. Rosa was a superb mother, a warrior, strong and exceptional woman that leaves a permanent mark in the lives of her children, family and friends.
There are no words to express how grateful and blessed we feel for having our mom Rosa in our lives and she will forever be in our memories and hearts.

Una hermosa madre, abuelita y apreciada hermana
Rosa Albina fue la mayor y querida hija de Esther Rodriquez y Augustin Uriarte.
Lamentablemente, Rosa Albina falleció el domingo 7 de Diciembre, 2025, en el condado de San Diego, California a la edad de 94 años.
Rosa Albina fue una madre excepcional de sus cinco hijos, Jose Luis, Maria Esther, Carlos Alfredo, Miguel Alberto, y Victor Manuel Contreras. Ella también fue bendecida con cinco nietos, cinco bisnietos y dos tataranietos.
Además de su papel como madre. Rosa era una cocinera maravillosa y disfrutaba en preparar las comidas favoritas a sus hijos y familares. Siempre que llegavamos a su casa habia algo delicioso para comer: cochinita pivil, tamales, menudo, posole barbacoa, y sus famosos frijolitos con chile, que todos nos queriamos llevar a casa.
Como la querida hermana mayor, una de sus mejores alegrías era pasar tiempo con su familia y disfrutar la compañía de sus hermanos, hermanas y también de sus numerosos sobrinos, que les encantaba visitarla y disfrutar de su comida deliciosa.
Rosa Albina fue una mujer guerrera, fuerte y excepcional que dejo una marca permanente en la vida de sus hijos, familia y todos sus queridos amigos.
No hay palabras para expresar lo agradecidos y bendecidos que nos sentimos por haberla tenido en nuestras vidas. Rosa Albina vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones.
