Rosendo Cuevas' Obituary
We are extremely saddened to announce the passing of Rosendo Cuevas Figueroa at 89 years of age on March 16th, 2023. He was born on March 1st, 1934 in Apaxtla de Castrejón Guerrero, Mexico. He was a husband to Remedios Valencia for 60 years and father to Rosendo Cuevas Jr. , Agustin Cuevas, Jorge Cuevas, and Natividad Cuevas. He migrated to the U.S and was a resident of San Diego for 19 years. Through his lifetime he encountered many hardships regarding his health but with the strong support of his family and friends he fought through all the battles such as 6 major surgeries, defeated cancer twice and the loss of his right eye. He was a kind and very loving soul that cherished every single moment that he got to spend with his loved ones and for them fought hard till the very end. He will always remain in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
