We are sorry for your loss. We know he will be greatly missed. May God bless you and your family.
We have many fond memories of Roy and Maribess as they opened their home for different church activities. Also fun times with our Japanese students(J.B.) Hitoshi and Kaori. Love and prayers to Dana and Nell. God bless you for your loving care of your dad.
great, grand-niece. RB was my great grand fathers younger brother. My favorite story he told me in a letter; was when Pearl Harbor happened he was in the middle of the Pacific on a ocean tug boat bringing a ship back to Pearl. When WWII ended he was again near the same part of the Pacific doing the same thing, towing a ship back to Pearl.
To Dana and the entire Chappell family: We send you strength and love at this difficult time….Roy was one of our father's best friends; now they are all together again. With love and respect from the family of Bill & Muriel Hallum: Ron Hallum, Roger Hallum, and Robin Hallum-Goldsmith.
Even though we knew Roy and Bess for years, we were glad to find out more about his life. The service sounds wonderful and if Rob felt better, we would come. We will be praying for you, Dana. Love, Rob and Florence
Roy was a good man who touched the hearts of many. He lived his values and influenced others to be their best. As family man, friend, neighbor and community leader, he will be missed by all who knew him. To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.
God bless the Chappell family. You are in our prayers. Kiley & Teresa
Uncle Roy your influence and joy of The Lord molded my life and many others. Thank you.
To the family of Roy B. Chappell…You are all in our thoughts and our prayers. God Bless you all during this difficult time. We love you all so much and we are here for you guys if you need anything. Just to share a little memory I have of Roy…Fernando was switching wallets the other night and came across the Liberty Card I had made out of one of Fernando's old driver licenses. When I showed it to Roy he just loved it and smiled. The Liberty Card is a card that you receive in the Military. We would love listening to Roy talk about all his wonderful stories and listening to him when he would pray. I really miss our Wednesday night prayer meetings we would have with him. We just adored Roy and will always keep him close to our hearts and our minds. We Love You Roy! Love, The Hernandez Family
