Roy and I were neighborhood buddies ALL of the time that we both lived on the Westside of Port Arthur until graduation from Lincoln High School at which time I left for Howard University.
Roy's uncle and aunt were my next door neighbors and Roy and I were classmates, therefore we were in-touch even after Roy's journey to California because some 30 years later we set-up computer systems in his mansion on the East Side of Port Arthur, and when I became President of the Class of 1958, we consulted frequently and our friendship became even more beautiful as we established a tribute to Adam Earnest Simpson; our local military hero/classmate.
I can't point to a single item to make the "memory-point" of this lifetime of friendship items of friend, family, neighbor, classmate, buddy . . . Peace and blessings, Roy.
