Ruth Emmalou Ehlers, born on April 16, 1937 in Bakersfield, California to parents June Fishback and Carol Wilson Fishback entered into rest on February 10, 2023 in San Diego, California. A resident of San Diego for over 55 years. A respected and Loving daughter, sister, friend, aunt, wife and mother. She worked as a teacher for the San Marcos Unified school district for over 55 years. She married her love Howard Oskar Ehlers and together raised their daughter, Paula C Ehlers. Ruth was also honored to have been able to share her life with a host of friends and family. It is evident that she will forever be missed yet never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
