Ruth Garibay La Madrid's Obituary
Ruth LaMadrid was born on August 29th 1925 in San Diego, California to her loving parents Enrique Garibay and Severa Ramos. Ruth was the oldest sister to siblings Henrietta, Ramon, Guadalupe, Ernie, Rosie, and Nancy. Ruth enjoyed participating in local bowling leagues, doing crossword puzzles, word searches, crocheting, and was a fan of the San Diego Padres. Ruth married her husband Paul LaMadrid on October 10th 1942 and together they shared 46 happy years of marriage. Together they had four daughters, Pauline, Priscilla, Mary, and Rachel. Ruth was adored by her 10 grandchildren, 26 great grand children, and 22 great great grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “nana”. Ruth LaMadrid, age 96, peacefully passed away surrounded by family, on Thursday, May 26th 2022. Her death is proceeded by her husband, Paul LaMadrid and daughters, Mary Rosales and Pauline Acero.Ruth is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Sanchez and Rachel Gutierrez, her 10 grandchildren: Yvonne Soto, Bobby Acero, Marla White, Paul Sanchez, Samuel Rosales Jr, Lorraine Ricks, Linda Gamelin, Valentino Rosales, Alicia Rodriguez, and Kika Gutierrez; 26 great grand children: Catalina MacDermot, Ivan Soto, Justin White, Jace White, Jaden White, Alexander Desselle, Paul Sanchez Jr, Hope Horlacher, Samuel Rosales Jr, Neto Rosales, Samantha Rosales, Jessica Gray, Mary Murphy, Teresa Stevenson, Ruthie Baker, Joshua Ricks, Charlee Ricks, George Guerrero Jr, Stephanie Gamelin, Claudette Sell, Mina Guerrero, Elizabeth Simmon, Valentino Rosales Jr, Joseph Rosales, Savannah Rosales, Isabella Rosales, Anthony Rosales, and Laila Rodriguez; and great great grandchildren: Misty MacDermot, Kingston MacDermot, Knight MacDermot, Jaxon White, Cole Horlacher, Emmet Horlacher, Max Horlacher, Cameron Gray, Hannah Murphy, Jane Murphy, Nadine Stevenson, Phillip Stevenson Jr, Lyanna Baker, Isabella Baker, Paul Baker Jr, Milah Gamelin, Landen Sell, Arriana Guerrero, Dolly Simmon, Kageen Simmon, Caleb Sell, and another one on the way.She will be deeply missed.
