Sabino Villa Chabolla's Obituary
Sabino V. Chabolla, beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, age 63, passed away on June 1, 2019 in San Diego.He was born in Fresno on August 13, 1955 to Camilo and Magdalena Chabolla and was the fifth of seven children. Sabino graduated from San Diego High School in 1974. He went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps and was a proud veteran. He married the love of his life Rhonda Basura on December 8, 1979 and had two children. His 40th wedding anniversary was to be celebrated this year. He worked for over 40 years in the automobile industry and received various awards.Sabino was known for being well dressed and ready to hit the dance floor. He had a love of music and was often seen smiling and jamming. He was well respected by his coworkers and was a mentor to many others. Family and friends considered him to be big hearted and a loving father.He is survived by his wife Rhonda, daughters Sonia and Rose, sisters Frances, Ofelia, Mary, and Irene, brother Camilo, and dozens of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Camilo and Magdalena Chabolla, and sister Elena.Family, friends, and others whose lives Sabino touched are invited to Greenwood Memorial’s Salli Lynn Chapel on Thursday June 13th for a viewing from 6-9pm. Funeral services will start at Our Lady of Guadalupe church on Friday June 14th at 9:30am with burial to follow at Greenwood Memorial.
