Backus Jeremy
Dear Hank, Loida and Mai. You have our deepest sympathies for the loss of your dear son and brother, Sam. After reading his obituary, it was evident what a kind, gentle and generous heart he had. Definitely the kind of people that God wants in his new world right here on earth. Job chapter 14 in verse 15 helps us appreciate how much God misses him and how much he desires to bring him back to life. It says that he will long for or yearn to bring back our loved ones who have died. That feeling can be compared to how a parent feels when they lose their little child in a big crowd. At first they feel panic and great anxiety. But they search for that child no matter what it takes until , they find them. That’s the same intense feeling that God has, and he will not be satisfied until he brings your son and brother back to life. What a great God, we worship! We pray that he continue to comfort your hearts during this difficult time. All our love, Jeremy and Karis Backus. (sorry this is so late.)
