Samuel Armando Bonilla, known lovingly by many as “Sammy,” passed away on May 7, 2026, at the age of 50. He was born on April 22, 1976, and spent his life in San Diego, California, surrounded by the people and things he loved most.
Samuel was a devoted husband to his wife, Rossana, and a loving father to his daughters, Bella and Celeste. Family meant everything to him, and those closest to him knew they could always count on him to stand up for and protect the people he loved. He also shared a special bond with his dog, Max, and cat, Clover, who brought him comfort and happiness throughout the years.
Sammy will also be reunited with his beloved dog, Rona, who meant so much to him. Known for being passionate, strong willed, and unapologetically himself, Sammy left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Though he could be stubborn at times, it came from the deep loyalty, love, and conviction he carried for his family and the things he believed in. Sammy enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved being at home, relaxing in the sun, spending time with his pets, watching YouTube, and spending his Saturdays watching UFC. He especially loved having breakfast with his mother in law, Lidia, moments that brought him comfort and routine over the years.
He lived life in his own way and never pretended to be anyone other than himself. Samuel’s memory will live on through his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

También disfrutaba mucho desayunar con su suegra, Lidia, momentos que le brindaban comodidad y rutina a lo largo de los años.
Vivió la vida a su manera y nunca pretendió ser alguien que no era. La memoria de Samuel vivirá por siempre en su familia, amigos y en todas las personas que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo. Será profundamente extrañado y recordado siempre.
