Sharon Lea Gois' Obituary
Sharon Lea Gois of La Mesa, California passed away on November 5, 2024, surrounded by her three sons, John, Brian and Todd and her Daughter-in-Law Amanda. She was born in Susanville California in 1939 and lived in California for her entire life. She moved to San Diego as a child and never left “America’s Finest City”.
In 1962, at 23 years of age, she met the love of her life, John F. Gois. Soon after they had the first of three sons, John Jr., followed by Brian and Todd.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother. When the children got older she accompanied her husband on several long haul fishing trips where she travelled the world. She went through the Panama Canal four times.
She was married to John Sr. for 60 Years. John was the love of her life and when he passed 2-1/2 years ago it left a void in Sharon’s life that she never recovered from.
Sharon Lea Gois is survived by her three sons, John Jr., Brian and Todd, her daughter-in-law, Amanda, and her grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Madison, Rachel and Jennifer. Also her brother, Larry, many nephews and nieces, and loving friends.
