Dear George, Dennis and Rex,Shirley and I were roommates at Santa Barbara St. college. I send my sympathy to all of you. I have never spent a birthday until this year without hearing from my dear friend. Her birthday card came back and I knew something terrible must have happened. This is very sad news to me. I have known Shirley since the 80's. Though we have been on opposite coasts for several years now-we always picked up wherever we left off. I just talked to her in late June or early July. As always she had her positive attitude and outlook. My condolences to George, Rex and Dennis.

George,Dennis and Rex,I was so sorry to read of Shirley's passing. Dr.Compton called me. We all worked together in the 70's with her,Arlene,Mabel,and Pat at his office.
