“Mom”, Grandma Shirley, Mom SmittyShirley was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandmother who was full of unconditional love. With the ability to light up a room, Shirley enjoyed sharing stories of her long life’s adventures. An amazing baker, her tasty treats will be greatly missed – especially her pies! Baseball was a passion of Shirley’s, both as a scorekeeper for her sons and as a fan of the Padres. She created a second home and family to many U.S. Marines. She was rarely without one, or more, of her beloved Boston Terriers. She passed away peacefully and had a sharp mind to the end.She is survived by her sons Dan (Donna) and Tim (Jenae). Grandchildren Zachary, Chris (Matthew), Benjamin, Haley (Johnny) and Hannah and great granddaughter Kinsley. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, son Billy and grandson Patrick.
