Sophia c. Smirnes, born on November 27, 1942 in Michigan to parents Christopher Smirnes and Alexandra Papadopolous Smirnes, entered into rest on May 8, 2023, in San Diego, California. A loving, daughter, sister, friend, cousin and aunt. She worked in design engineering for the department of defense for over 30 years. She lived her life for her family. Sophia was also honored to share her life with a host of friends. It is evident she will be missed yet never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
