Steven Harold Roche's Obituary
Steven Harold (Steve) Roche was born on July 26, 1948 to William and Margaret Roche in San Diego, CA. Steve passed away suddenly from glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer on July 1, 2024. Steve was a devoted husband to Teresa Roche, a loving father to his two children Jonathan and Stephanie and a fun loving grandfather to Allie and Ella. Steve's qualities included being a responsible man, happy, giving and with a great sense of humor. Steve was a loving and proud father who taught both his children the importance of a strong work ethic as well as being good citizens and neighbors. His zest for life was spending time with his family and friends. He loved traveling with Teresa and dinners at home with his friends and family, Steve donated his time to RSVP, The Retired Senior Volunteer Program here in San Diego and he took great pride in doing so. He was also proud to still be working part time at Ehmcke Sheet Metal Corp. utilizing his skills as a Cabinet Maker. More than that, he was a Master Craftsman when it came to working with his hands. He left the mark of his talent everywhere. In honor of Steve's zest for life and vibrant spirit, we invite guests to wear Hawaiian shirts or white to the Celebration of Life. As we remember Steve, let's enjoy life as he did and that those who knew him were blessed with his memories and love.
