Sum Khammao's Obituary
Sum Khammao, was born on March 7, 1942 in Laos to proud parents, Tiam and Tip Yot Oune. She was the third of six children. She married Da Khammao in 1968. She worked as a farmer and then a homemaker. She lived in Laos until 1975. She came to the U.S. and became a member of First Baptist Church in National City. She was a devoted follower of Christ right up until she left to the Lord. She was loving, nurturing, kindhearted and the best cooker. She enjoyed fishing, babysitting and gardening. The most important events in her life were family gatherings and family unions; she loved her family very much. Her favorite music and songs were Morlum, Lum Putai and Pao Kan. She is survived by her loving husband, seven children, three brothers, two sisters, 21 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a best friend Wandee Khammao.
