Sybil Joan Petet's Obituary
In Celebration of the Life of Sybil Joan Petet Born August 18, 1933 in Watertown, New York, Died May 23, 2015, two weeks after suffering a stroke. Parents- Stanley and Sybil Crandall Graduated from Grossmont High School, Class of 1951 Married shortly after graduation to James A. Duncan,( divorced) one daughter- Lynn She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Dale L. Petet, from West Point, Nebraska in 1993, and their infant daughter, Julie Marie Petet in 1964. She worked for over 20 years as a receptionist for a local Medical Group. Mom and Dad were very active in the VFW 2082 Camping Club for many years and made many lasting friendships there. She liked to crochet and make latch hook rugs.She kept her friends and family supplied with crochet slippers and caps and made several afghans for special people. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Broesch and son in law Jim Broesch, three grandchildren- Valerie Broesch, David Broesch and wife Kim, Michael Broesch and wife Holly, and three great-grandchildren, Kailey, Aiden and Lilly.
