Terrie Elizabeth Taylor's Obituary
Terrie Elizabeth Taylor
January 4, 1951 – January 26, 2023
Terrie Elizabeth Taylor always claimed her adventure began in the foothills of the Sierras. She often regaled tails of exploring the landscape accompanied by weimaraners. Her adoration for flora and fauna was on prominent display throughout her life. She was perfectly content staring at the ocean, watching the tide come in and out for hours on end. She was thrilled by each chance to house-sit pets or even just come across pets while running errands. Terrie was always ready to tell stories about these animals, and her own to anyone who was interested, even perfect strangers.
In fact, she could spin yarn with about pretty much anyone willing to converse. What was so utterly impressive, is that she could take a casual conversation with a complete stranger and turn them into a new friend with a true heartfelt connection. On numerous occasions, Terrie exchanged life stories with entire strangers, but by the end, they were strangers no more. Even if they were to never meet again, they knew that Terrie had heard their tale, their needs, their dreams, and they in return had peaked into her life. A life that was cut too short.
Terrie is survived by her daughter Stephanie, her son-in-law Peter, her siblings, nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nieces and nephews. There is no lack of people to tell Terrie’s story and remember her impact on the world. She may be gone from it, but her kindness, fascination, and love for the world and God live on in those around her.
