Theodore Mikell's Obituary
Theodore Mikell (“Mike” for short) was born to Theodore and Ellen Mikell on June 9, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His Mom was born in Biloxi Mississippi where she was raised with her eight siblings in the late 1940’s. Theodore’s parents then separated resulting in his Mom moving to San Diego County. He graduated from San Diego High School and then later married Claudette Smith where they lived in a nice neighborhood of Encanto. Together Claudette and Mike had six children: Anthony, Lamar, Colletter Michelle, Kenny Theodore, Trollie Danitia, Tashia Monique. Grandchildren: William, Savannah, Solana, Selena, Salyssa, Claudette, Carey, Markesse, Dante and Dontrey, NiCollete and Niko. Great Grandchildren: William Scott, Tia Scott, Tiana Scott, J’Allen Scott, Jaliyah and Ashlyn. “Mike” also leaves with us his brothers: Lawrence, Leroy, Roosevelt and his sister Mary Ellen and a host of cousins and other family members. Mike will be joining his wife Claudette, his son Tony, both of his parents and his younger brother Russell who all preceded him in death. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
