Tialuga Le McMoore's Obituary
Tialuga Le McMoore, 81, of Utulei, American Samoa, left us on January 22, 2022. “Tia” McMoore, the eldest child of Launiu Popoali’i Fepulea’i and Luaao Le McMoore, passed away at Scripps Mercy Hospital after falling ill due to a gastrointestinal perforation. She is survived by her three sons Robert, Michael, and James McDonald and three grandsons Harold, Robert, and James McDonald II. Tia and her family are originally from the US Territory of American Samoa. After retiring from many years working for the American Samoa Government, Tia moved to San Diego, CA to live with her children and grandchildren. Tia loved her family, her Samoan culture, and her home village of Utulei. She enjoyed bingo, watching game & talent shows on TV, all of her beloved pets, and was a devoted Christian her entire life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Church services will be held on Thursday, February 17th at the First Samoan Congregational Christina Church at 345 S 45th St, San Diego, CA. The viewing will begin at 830am and funeral service begins at 10am.
