Tonight is 2020's Chinese New Year, and I just happened to see this link from your FB account. I wasn't able to attend your service, as I live here in Vegas. But I have been thinking of you, Alan and your family since the past holidays, and today. I can only imagine the emptiness they feel not having you around to celebrate 😢 We didnt get to know each other long enough, but I am proud of your accomplishments. Through your leadership and wild self, you taught me what it was like to have a work family. I felt more kinship at work than even my own blood family. My dearest Joe, You are sorely missed but many of us have very fond memories of you! We met so many, many years ago and we were fortunate enough to reconnect again through FB. What a wonderful app to bring so many old friends back together! Your energy, laughter, warmth, and pure craziness only increased with the years yet you exemplified truth, loyalty, love and happiness in all that you did and everyone that crossed your path would know just how special you are….or you would tell them straight up!! You helped to orchestrate connections with old childhood friends and for that I will always be grateful. Thank you for giving me the courage to express myself however I want, be whoever I want to be, wear whatever I want to wear ever since i was 9.
