Tony Roderick Reynolds' Obituary
Tony Roderick Reynolds was born to Ernest and Mae Reynolds on November 24, 1960 in Paris, Texas. Growing up in a military family, Tony spent the majority of his childhood traveling throughout California residing on and near Navy bases where he enjoyed participating in various sports. He graduated from Encinal High School in Alameda, California in 1978, and as a young adult prayed with his parents to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego until he sought to express his life-long love of math and science by earning a B. S. Degree in Physics from San Francisco State University in June 2000. Tony worked for many years as a high-level computer network support professional, most recently as a Desktop Support Specialist in San Francisco, California with the law firm of Jeffer Mangels Butler and Mitchell LLP. However, his pride and joy was found in being a devoted father to his five-year old son, Everett. Tony loved riding bikes, working out, reading a good book, and discussing politics. Most of all, he showed great passion and boldness in various topics as he loved to debate (especially religion). At 56 years old, Tony died unexpectedly in his sleep from Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease on Monday, February 13, 2017. He is survived by his father and mother, Ernest and Mae Reynolds; his sister, Cyndy Reynolds; his son, Everett Price Reynolds; his son’s mother, Atarah Price, and his pet cat, Monkey. He is preceded in death by his niece, Kamilah Hasina Reynolds Hilt. The family is shocked and grief stricken by his sudden passing, and ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be sent to the American Heart Association in Tony Roderick Reynolds’ memory; donate online at https://donatenow.heart.org/ or by mail to American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, PO Box 742030 Los Angeles, CA 90074-2030.
