Anthony (Tony) VigeonDecember 4, 1921 to March 31, 2014World War II Veteran Anthony (Tony) Vigeon, 92, passed away peacefully at his home on March 31, 2014. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1979 after 33 years. He is joined in sprit with many loved ones who preceded him in death. Tony was survived by his beloved wife, Helena (Rosnowsky) Vigeon of 71 years; two children, Kathleen Vigeon of Santee, California and Joseph Vigeon of Orwell, New York; granddaughter, Michelle (Vigeon) Griggs, son-in-law, Albert Griggs II; great-grandson, Anthony Griggs of Branson, Missouri; granddaughter, Geraldine Vigeon of North Syracuse, New York and grandson Brandon Vigeon of Austin, Texas. A Viewing be held Sunday, April 6th 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Greenwood Garden Chapel, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California 92113. A Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 7th 2014 at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2766 Navajo Road, El Cajon, California 92020. Interment to immediatley follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, California 92113. A reception will follow at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Food Pantry.
