Tracy Estelle Tipton "Tra Dee"'s Obituary
Tracy Estelle Tipton passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 11, 2024. The cherished daughter of Ernest Brock and Sandra Ann Brock, she entered the world on June 12, 1966 in Oakland, California. She leaves to mourn her faithful husband of 30 years, De'Shawn Tipton, and beloved only son, Marquis Lamarr Tipton, who reside in San Diego.
Tracy attended Berkeley High School and studied business at San Diego State University. As a young woman, Tracy embarked on a high-paced career in the corporate sector, rising to the position of Senior Manager at First American Credco, where she was beloved by co-workers and friends for her heart of wisdom and prayerful encouragement. A faithful church member and intercessory prayer warrior, Tracy served as a beautiful vessel of Christ's love as she studied the scriptures with care, blessing her friends and family by pointing to His eternal truth.
A Godly woman of inner strength and resiliency, Tracy was a "Proverbs 31" woman with a natural leadership style and a generous spirit of hospitality. She opened her loving and nurturing home to many wayfarers, near and far. Her earthly life was bathed in ceaseless, joyful prayer for others in accordance with the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
Dedicated to caring for people in their times of need, while inviting them to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, Tracy brought Christ's eternal hope to every situation. In this celebration of her life, we recall fondly how she celebrated the lives of all those who crossed her path, embracing their birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other milestones. Overflowing with the Holy Spirit and embracing the vitality of life in Christ, she especially loved to listen to Christian praise music, laugh out loud, and cook a delicious family feast.
The Holy Spirit brought to her incredible memory all the specific prayers and scripture verses she would speak over a multitude of loved ones and strangers alike. Wise, nurturing, courageous, and classy, she will be forever remembered as a shining light who lived her life fully for the glory of God. She leaves on earth a wonderful grandmother and a host of loved ones, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister and friends.
