Travon Charles High's Obituary
Travon Charles High affectionately known as Tra, Traweezie, and Boo bear, the beloved son of Sheila High and Eugene High Jr., was born on February 3, 1992, in San Diego, California.
Travon attended Hamilton Elementary and Perry Elementary school where he learned how to play the clarinet in the 4th grade; Bell Junior High school and San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) where he continued to play the clarinet and also learned how to play the piano. Travon graduated from SCPA in 2010 where he received his diploma.
Travon was a warm loving individual who had an infectious laugh and smile and gave incredible hugs. He touched many people’s lives. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had many friends that loved his positive attitude and his encouraging words. He loved playing video games, gaming through live streaming where he would be online for hours until the early morning; and he was also well known for his game designs in the gaming communities. He loved playing basketball with his best friend.
Travon started his working career in 2013 at DD’s Discounts as a sales associate and then later became a store protection specialist. In 2015 he started working for Elite Show Services as a security guard. In 2021 he started working for Allied Universal Security services where he was a security at Bank of America. His customers loved how friendly and courtesy he was to everyone.
Travon received his wings on June 23, 2022. He is proceeded in death by his great grandmother Golda Allen, Bernice McDade, Lestermae Brown; great grandfather Maurice McDade, Robert Brown, grandfather Charles Haley and Eugene High Sr. and aunt Michele High. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother Sheila High; father Eugene High Jr.; brother Dailon High (Amy High); Sister Vashae High (Rashad Smith), grandmother Ruth Haley and Barbara Thompson; Aunt Sylvia
Haley, Leslie High, Jeannie Canada, Holly High; Nephews Bryson Smith and Rome High; Niece’s Audri Smith and Kaiya High; Cousins De’Shawn Martin, Clarissa Martin, De’Andre Jones, Darrion Jones, Andre Wesson, Darrell Watkins Jr., Tiannia Pyatt, Nastacia High, Marrissa Lamb, Kenneth Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Kalon Breaux, Kalaggio Vazquez and a host of aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
