Venice Calvin Vandivier's Obituary
Venice Calvin Vandivier, 90 of Lemon Grove, CA passed away at his home.
Venice was born on February 7, 1933 to parents Willis Calvin and Mary (Gordon) Vandivier.
Venice attended school in Belle Plain, Iowa.
After high school in 1951 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
He proudly served his Country as a Chef on the submarines and was a leader Chief Petty Officer, (E7), retiring 22 years after service.
Venice married the Love of his Life, Renate on July 3, 1964. He was a dedicated family man together they truly loved sharing their lives with their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years, his daughters Gaby and Monica and sons,
Dennis and Steve. Also his 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
His sisters, Margaret Clark, Carol Novotny and Kay Hartgrave.
Brothers Gene and Jim all from Iowa. Brother Ernie from Arkansas.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, Eddie and Gordon.
May he rest in peace Eternally.
