There are no words to express how much Vina will be missed by my family and me.. My family met Mrs. Masadao and her 4 beautiful daughters and son in-law Al back in , in 1974 when my family purchased a house on Howard Ave. in University Heights. Immediately we became friends, and then they became like an extended family to us. the family grew, and soon two more brothers joined the clan, and my mother became Marilou's Comadre, as she stood up as Godmother for Chad. We shared so many good times together, and some sad times too, but always together. I remember her parties, she was such a gracious hostess, and I still remember her delicious Pancit like if it were just yesterday. I remember when a car went thru her house, and my family and I we so grateful to God that no one had been harmed in any way. R.I.P. our dear friend. You are surely going to be missed, and forever remembered. Thank you for your loving and loyal friendship. Our sympathy to the Masadao-Phelps family. Al, Vilma, Marilou, DollyBell, Mark, Chad, Aaron, Candance and the rest of the family, may God fill your hearts with peace during this difficult transition in your lives.Love, your friends always, Maria Vasquez(Mestanza), Emilia, Stephanie, Bernabe, and Sarah. We love you all so much.
