Victoria Peluso's Obituary
Victoria Peluso, 99 passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018. She was born on June 19, 1919 in Akron, Ohio. Her parents, Antonio and Sara Ficarra precede her in death along with 5 siblings. Victoria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother. She married James Joseph Peluso on November 27, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1980. Victoria served during World War II as a “Rosie The Riveter” working on B24 Liberator Bombers in San Diego at Consolidated. Her labor contributed to the memory of the “Greatest Generation.” Victoria was an active member of San Diego First Assembly of God and Linda Vista Assembly of God, serving as a Sunday School teacher, choir member and Sunday School Superintendent.Her love for God and her family will forever remain in the hearts of everyone she touched and impacted.She is survived by her daughters and their husband’s, Nancy and Don Childers, Carmela and Dietmar Berg, Mary Ann and Chris McGahan. She is also survived by her sons and wives, James and Linda Peluso, Joseph Peluso, Salvatore and Debby Peluso and John and Gayle Peluso. She is survived by one brother Vincenzo Ficarra and one sister, Mary Ann Johnson, as well as by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.The family would like to thank all who have supported them with prayers and visits during this time of their loss and heaven’s gain.
