Virginia A. Delgado's Obituary
Virginia A. Delgado Virginia A. Delgado was the daughter of Rufina “Ruth” Apodaca Villegas and Ruben Vera (actually raised by Raymond “Grandpa Cookies” Villegas). Also contributing to her upbringing and a great influence in her life was her grandmother Amanda Orozco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. “Bobby D.” Delgado, her son Daniel R. Zapata, and Daniel M. Zapata IV. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Anna M. Ayala and Channy M. Mendivil. Virginia had 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Although there is no one on earth who can fill the void in the hearts of our family we rest assured that she is in the presence of the Lord because 2 Corinthians 5:9 says, “…to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” She put her trust in the Lord.
