I was blessed to have Mr Knapp as my homeroom 6th grade teacher. He also taught my 4 siblings. I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Mr Knapp about 13 years ago when we had a luncheon and arranged a local news interview for him and his 2 co teachers. Celeste, Julie & I continued to visit him over the years. When I first located him I could not find a phone number but I found an address. I drove to his home where we shared a glass of wine & visited. A huge Thank you to his family for sharing him with us over the years. He was a truly special man.

Paul and I took my mom, Mickey Knapp, on her first ever air flight to San
Diego to visit Uncle Bill and Aunt Bernie and she spoke of that trip often. We had a great visit. We will miss speaking with Uncle Bill but we know he is most excited to be with Aunt Bernie, his parents and siblings (spouses) and his God.
