Yun Som's Obituary
Yun Som, 89, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026. She was a beloved grandmother to Bryan, Morgan, CJ, Malia, Vivian, Veronica, and Kamrin; mother to Tilly and Marina (and Nicholas); aunt to Malika, Virakpol (and Sheona), Khemara (and Mynu), Khema, Jessica (and Victor), and Christopher; and sister to Chhoeuth (and Borin) and Many.
The cornerstone of the Som family, her unconditional love, care, and sacrifices live on in every life she touched. She is the gold standard and epitomized strength, resilience, and selflessness. She led her life with compassion, kindness, and an open, generous heart. Just like how she loved to tend to her garden, her attention and devotion to our family helped cleared the path to allow everyone to flourish and grow.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy. Her vibrant, positive energy and genuine joy echoes through us and will be deeply felt in our hearts forever.
