Zachariah Wall's Obituary
Zachariah Robert Wall Jr. or “Grandpa Zach”, passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family on November 21, 2021. He lived a long wonderful 105 years, born July 18, 1916, in Marshall, Missouri. In 1939 Zach received his BS from the University of Missouri, shortly after he entered the US Army where he served as a General Staff Officer, Adjutant General’s Division during WWII and honorably discharged as a Major in 1946. He lived happily with his wife Anita of 68 years and had three children that predeceased them both: Zachariah, Dennis, and Julie. Many people asked Grandpa Zach how he was able to live so long, and he would always reply with the same answer, “Never get upset inside”. He is cherished and loved by many and will be deeply missed. Zach is survived by his grandkids, Jaime Duclos and her husband Josh Duclos, Christopher Werdenberg and his wife Kim Werdenberg, great grandchildren Tatianna Noriega and Anthony Werdenberg, and by his son-in-law Jonathan Werdenberg, his wife Criseida Werdenberg and their kids Kristina and Derek.
Funeral will take place on December 29th, 2021 12pm (Noon)
