Louis Joseph Ramirez Jr
July 1, 1952 - October 29, 2021
Louis Ramirez Jr., 69, of National City, CA, died on Oct. 29 at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love of family and worship. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle, and will be missed by those who knew him. He served as a steward in the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and maintained a chapel in the family home in National City, where he was a devoted parishioner. The chapel received many worshipers over the years. Louis had no trouble speaking his mind and you always knew where you stood with him. He had a great work ethic, as his father before him, and he always tried to take care of himself, as his numerous vitamin supplements attest. He is predeceased by his brother, Reuben, 39, of San Diego; mother, Ramona, 71, of National City; sister, Sylvia, 53, of El Cajon; father, Louis Sr., 89, of National City; and niece, Cathrine Navarro, 48, of Chula Vista. He is survived by his sisters: Vivian Laurin of Chula Vista, Annette Ramirez of San Diego, and Diane Golingan of Encinitas; and children: Bernadette, 46, of Key West, FL; Louis III, 45, of Oregon; Angelique, 43, of Coeur d’Alene, ID; Alphonsus, 41, of Athol, ID; Michael, 40, of Las Vegas, NV; Roseanna, 37, of Coeur d’Alene; and Rickey, 35, of Coeur d’Alene. He had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
