We have fond memories of Al… He was a wonderful friend to our parents … Dad, Frank and mom Rosa Palumbo . They vacationed together with Al & Dawn and shared many years of friendship. We spent time with Al and have fond memories of him coming into the restaurant on business and friendship and Saturday mornings at our home for coffee. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Dear Al, I am so happy that you were my father-in-law for the past 15 years. You welcomed me into your loving family. I remember when Holly and I played cards with you a couple of years ago. We had such fun. Thanks for being such a great man and grandfather to Holly & Patrick.
What do I say about Al…..He was kind and very generous. If were shopping and I even looked like I wanted something it was mine. Al did all the grocery shopping…yeah…. he would take all his coupons and I would'nt see him for two hours. Al would go two, sometimes three stores to get the best buys. We had a store in our garage, so much, the kids would come to shop in our garage. When Al came into the house after grocery shopping I would watch for a small bag, that was his stash of chocolate candy bars for the week. Al loved to go cruising! Our cruise vacations were wonderful and so much fun! Al would diet for two months before the cruise, then put it all back on at those mid-night buffets. (Al loved his sweets) God gives us special things to do in this Life, and I think Gods special thing for Al was to please the people around him.See you again, for another 60 years…………..Love Dawn
Papa, I remember back in the day's you cruzing around the neighborhood in your cheese truck and saying there goes little Teri's dad. Well Mr.GARAFALO I want to let you know that it is with my love for Teri that I am very greatful to you and your family for allowing me to be part of your wonderful family, I will always remember your big smile. Hi dad I want to thank you so much for everything you have done for me. You loved your job so much. I have followed in your footsteps. I too am a CHEESE MAN. You tought me how to live and love, and i am forever in yout debt. One memory i have is…. You picked me up at Boy Scout camp and took me to a Chargers game at Balboa Stadium. Our vacations to June Lake were amazing. Let's not forget the curise we went on. We had so much fun together. you will be missed. Love Frank
Dear great grandpa al: the last time I saw you was the summer before I went into the 5th grade and I had pink hair and we ate a lot of icecream while I was there and me and holly played doctor in the built in Padilla and I used to play peek a boo with you and you had the cutest smile….I miss you so much.xoxo I know you are watching over us and I just wanted to say I love you……love your one and only sarabear xoxoxo
