Ardell S. Krueger November 20, 1915 – January 3, 2016SAN DIEGO–Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great and Great-Great Grandmother, friend and “Honorary Grand-mother of the entire Wallace family. Bill, her Husband and Best Friend for over 53 years preceded her in 2003. She is primarily survived by her son and daughter-in-law(caregiver) Ardon and Priscilla. Ardell worked at several accounting positions and retired as a bank teller. She started playing the piano at five and turned down a scholarship to Julliard as her parents could not afford the added expense and her Mother was quite ill. She taught herself (with Bill’s help) to play the organ for several churches and over 3,000 weddings. Recently, at 99 she played with the Senior Songsters of Mira Mesa as a Charter Member of Golden Friends Senior Center in Mira Mesa. Ardell has often been asked “why has she lived so long” and she replied “it was her love for music and bringing joy to others”. She was a member of Eastern Star.
