I am sorry for your loss.
I sailed with the Deep Tow team aboard the R/V Gyre in 1981 as part of Dr. Bill Ryan's team (my role: photography) from Lamont. I have recently been looking at pictures from that cruise on behalf of BriteSpark films of UK (via Geeta Wedderburn), who are creating a 2-part documentary film, to be aired in 2025, a retrospective about Titanic searches; there will be a focus telling the story of the Jack-Grimm-funded searches in which the Deep Tow team played an important part in 1980 and 1981. I thought you might like to see pictures I have of Carl at work on board.
