Chris treated me like a daughter rather than an ex daughter in law. She was always my voice of reason and one of my biggest supporters in all I do. She taught me to live life to the fullest to not to let negative stuff get to me. I miss our conversations and texts already. Thank you so much for your unconditional love and support. I will always have your voice in my head and you in my heart

My Cousin My friend. I cannot believe I still hear that laugh of yours and it makes me smile. We were roommates s in San Diego for a while… I'll never forget the day she put a "honk if you love Jesus" bumper sticker on our Cousin's corvette and we laughed so hard thinking about the reaction he would have when he saw it and to all the honking. She was a dear friend- lots of fun and so down to earth!… She would always go to the beach with me even though it was not her favorite place to go. She is the only person I know who would wear long pants and heels to the beach and I used to tease her about that. I love you Chris say hi to Uncle Joe, Dodie, Auntie Ida, Auntie Babes David, My mom and Dad… and all of the other relatives who I am sure were there to greet you!.
Christine was one of the first to befriend me when I moved to Hanson in the 8th grade. We lost contact when she moved to Ca. We reunited about 10 years ago and I was so excited to pick up our friendship. My husband and I met Chris and Joe in Vegas a couple of years ago. The funniest day of my life was when Chris, my husband and I stopped at a restaurant for something to eat. We looked at the posted menu and decided there was something for everyone……(none of us had any idea what TAPAS was, we do now) We all ordered what we though to be our dinner…….you can't imagine the laughter that rocked the entire dinning room when our meals arrives…..Chris was expecting steak and baked potato….it was 1 fingerling potato and tiny, tiny, tiny piece of steak. I had about a 1/4 cup of mac and cheese……..We still laughed about that when ever we talked…….. I will miss her beautiful face and her laugh………Forever in my thoughts and heart…..save a seat next to you at that Casino my friend!!!!!!!!
Many years ago I called Chris at 10:00 p.m. and told her that neither of my kids were home. They were sleeping over their friends house and I wished I had known ahead of time, to go somewhere since it was Friday night. Chris asked me, where would you like to go? I said Vegas. She laughed and replied "I just need to fix my hair", pick me up in an hour. Then we were on our way for an express trip to Vegas. We drove 1/2 the night, had a great time laughing all the way, playing the slots, and ate then headed home. And I made it home before my kids returned at 6:00 p.m..on Saturday.
Hello Family, I worked with Chris for Health Services, San Diego Unified School District in the late 1980's. Chris made coming to work delightful with her stories about the Portuguese islands and the foods that would elicit our lunch cravings! She would always speak fondly about her son, Rashad. I was so sad to hear of Christine's passing,we grew up in Hanson,some of us living on Monponsett Street.If you born or lived in Hanson we all knew everyone,it was a small town,sounds like you had a full good life in California,may you rest in piece,my condolences go all your family.Brenda Spinola Hilliard
