My Uncle Mimmo…..everyone speaks of the time they knew you before….I can only speak of the time that I knew you. I love you so much and I miss you so much already. Wow! This website is a lovely tribute to Mimmo. I send my condolensces to all of you who have loved Domenic so much. I met him when his sister, Cathy, moved next door in 1972. In the Romano tradition, Cathy introduced me to the family's house wine , as well as the Monday night family dinner and restaurant "left overs".I enjoyed Domenic so much at family functions. He was always lots of fun and very upbeat. I am one of many who will miss his presence. Rest in Peace, Mimmo and enjoy your loved ones who are with you now.Linda Miller

Domenic, you came into my life at a difficult time, when we immigrated int the 50's. Your family was my second family. I grew up with your sister and I can say that those were difficult times, but we all overcame because we appreciated the simple things and because we loved each other. You were always my idol and with the passing of time I never forgot you. I pray that you're with the angels and will be able to watch over your family and all of us.

My dear brother…how could you leave us already? There was always 4 of us, and now we are 3…doesn't feel right. I was at your home Saturday and my heart broke with all the memories of the many, many wonderful times we had there. My sincere condolences to Franco, Nino, Cathy and his many nephews and nieces on their loss of this most cherished member of the large, close-knit Romano family. While I didn't get to know Dominic as well as I did his dear mother and his brothers, I retain memories from the late 1960s of a handsome, somewhat shy and earnest, yet personable young waiter diligently working at the family's Mission Hills restaurant. May he find eternal peace.
