Donald Seedorf's Obituary
Donald Jack Seedorf, 69, of San Diego, passed away on December 18th, 2019 at Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center.
Born November 23, 1950, in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late Jack Henry Seedorf, Jr. and Laura Louise Cederberg.
Don was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School in the class of 1969. He was very active in his church as a member of the choir and youth group director at College Avenue. Don was a hardworking man holding numerous positions throughout his life. He was a milkman for a local dairy, construction superintendent, driver for San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, security guard supervisor at Elite Show Services, and volunteer with Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP) for San Diego County. Don was an entrepreneur as he owned and managed numerous properties throughout San Diego. In addition to properties, Don previously owned and operated pay phones and candy vending machines all across San Diego. Don’s greatest role in life was family man. He had breakfast every Saturday with his parents and looked forward to spending time with his sons and their families. Don also loved being with his two beloved Jack Russell Terriers.
Don is survived by his mother Louise; step-father Lloyd Cederberg; sons, Brandon and Nick Seedorf; daughters-in-law, Allison and Rachael Seedorf; grandchildren, Tyler, Hallie, Caden, and Ava Seedorf; brother, Ken Seedorf; sister, Robyn Johnson; sister-in-law, Kim Seedorf; brother-in-law, Robert Johnson; niece, Jaime Johnson Green; and nephews, Jerry Karnes, Ryan Johnson, and Chris Seedorf.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th, at 1pm at Legacy Church Tierrasanta, 10881 Tierrasanta Blvd., San Diego, CA 92124.
