Doris Jean Cooper's Obituary
Doris Jean Cooper, 83, of Temecula, CA, passed away peacefully on 05/28/2026.
Born on June 15, 1942, in Chattanooga TN, she lived a life filled with love, dedication, and kindness. She traveled by train when she was a baby with her mother, Elizabeth and father, William to California where she met the father of her three children (Gary) when she was in her teens. She was the family stone and gave her all for her family. Doris was known for her career in the bakery industry, her published poetry, love for her animals and passion to have a good time wherever she went.
She is survived by her brother, David; her daughters, Diana and Debra; her grandchildren, Letesha, Broc, Kimberly, Cory, Christine, Crystal, and Jenna; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life on 06/25/2026, viewing starting at 10 at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Ave San Diego.
Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal”
