Edwin William Moore's Obituary
Edwin Moore, age 89, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 20, 1936, and lived a life filled with faith.
Edwin was an active member of Faith Chapel, where he found both purpose and community throughout his life. His passion for helping others led him to volunteer with organizations like Teen Challenge, where he offered his time and talents to support those in need. A dedicated builder, Ed, traveled abroad to construct churches and homes, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and service. At home, he enjoyed tending to his garden, a hobby that brought joy and peace.
Edwin was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn, his son David, and his parents William and Anna Moore. He was also welcomed into heaven by his four brothers and 3 sisters. He leaves behind his beloved wife Bernie, and her family: Vicki, Bonnie, and Tom, along with seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, who were a great joy in his life. He is also survived by his two daughters, Debi and Sue, and their 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who shared in Ed’s journey. His life was a testament to faith, generosity, and unwavering love.
A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery on January 3, 2026, at 11:30AM. The family invites all who knew him to join in this time of remembrance and celebration.
Ed’s memory will live in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
