Emilio and my mother Cecilia were married in the San Diego temple and spent 20 wonderful years together. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with there good friends from church. We loved having Emilio and my Mom over for the holidays with my family. Emilio was a wonderful stepfather and TaTa to my grandchildren. Emilio and my Mom
were a wonderful example of what true love and total devotion looked like. Emilio will be greatly missed in our family.
I came to know Emilio when he married my mother-in-law, Cecelia. He became a good friend and a wonderful addition to our family for twenty years. He always had an interesting story to tell at Thanksgiving, Christmas and many family get-togethers. Rest In Peace amigo.
Emilio and Cecilia have inspired us with how they tenderly care for each other.

I grew up with Emilio's kids in the old San Diego 2nd Ward and remember when he was our teacher's quorum advisor. Many great memories of his example, his goodness and his mentoring.
