I was so sorry to learn of your passing, dear Faye, from our mutual friend, Dawn Davis! I remember the time I was rear-ended by a hit & run driver on Euclid right near the freeway on ramp, and a traffic light, and slamming into you immediately in front of my front end, heading north, with my big van. You were so kind & supportive of me during the shock of it! Yet you'd also been rear-ended by the force of that guy who ran onto the freeway! And I wanted you to be safe and unhurt, too. We chuckled later about it and your eyes...
We shared so many good times after meeting at Legal Aid. It was a pleasure and privilege to have known you and to have been in your home during our unionized years of strategizing to get Legal Aid staff better working terms and benefits, especially. And just for fun!
I hope you're partying with beloved family and departed friends up there in heaven. I'm sad also because I didn't do more myself to stay connected and communicating regularly and seeing you after your retirement and mine up here in Esco and learned until too late, to attend your memorial. I would've, had I seen anything in the UT that we still get daily. Should've been following my link to the V & V more regularly! You are missed...
Still sending much love to you...
