Daddy you are gone but never never forgotten love ya to the moon and back love your baby girl
I noticed in Steve's Obituary that the woman he spent his last 15 years wasn't mentioned so I'd like to mention her. She is my sister and her name is Ava Williams. Her and Steve were in love for many years. Steve was a hard working honest kind and loving partner. I never once heard Steve raise his voice. He would help anyone who needed it always. I will continue to miss Steve but I know I'll see him on the other side someday.
I will always remember how much Steve loved my sister for the last 15 years of his life. I noticed she wasn't mentioned in Steve's Obituary. Her name is Ava Williams and her and Steve had a wonderful loving relationship for many years. Steve was an honest hardworking kind man who would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was a good provider and my sister's best friend. I will always miss him.
We spent alot of years together.....happily living life....raising 2 wonderful children who loved you with all of their hearts. You are greatly missed and will be forever. Cancer may have taken you,but it did not win. God did. Now you can finally rest my friend.
We are all cousins so when our cousin, David, came to town, we grabbed some photos and went to visit Steve and Peggy. It was so fun to sit there, remembering our parents, sharing stories, looking at old photos and laughing. It was a really nice visit. (Summer 2019)
Years ago, I asked his Uncle George, my Dad, about memories of his nephews and nieces when they were growing up. He shared a story about a little dog that the family took in and the dog loved Steve and would follow Steve everywhere. And sometimes Steve would follow the dog into the street. Dad also had fond memories of going to Rio Seco for camping and he and Uncle George would take off and go into the hills to walk around. Neither Dad or Steve were very chatty, I can imagine them both walking and enjoying each others company, the love not needing words.
My memories are always of the deep, deep love that my parents had for Steve and how Steve was always was part of our family, like an older brother who lived away from us. I will miss Steve's sweet smile and fond affection that he always had for his family. He was a very special guy.
