I met Patriarch Kinnison in 1995 while serving as Branch President of the MCRD. He would come to our services regularly to give patriarchal blessings to the Marine recruits. This had to be done in a hallway in back of the classroom where we held our Sunday Meetings. It was so impressive that he could render such inspired blessings in a less than ideal environment. He was responsible for motivating many of our young men to be closer to the Savior.
