My uncle Gilbert will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will always reflect on our deep conversations and hold his advise close to my heart. I loved when he would visit New Mexico. We would sit and talk at grandma Linda’s for hours. He will be deeply missed and will forever be remembered as a “gentle giant”. Love Angelique
Gilbert was a kind and generous man who loved his family and friends. My mother Chako Brown, loved him dearly for the more than twenty years they were partners. He brought light and happiness to her life. My life was enriched by knowing him, his son Steve, and his niece Barbara. I will miss his conversation and advice and will always remember him with great fondness and respect.
I truly loved my uncle Gilbert and will miss him terribly. Not only was he a good and kind man, he took on the responsibility of helping his mother and two sisters when they were in need. He did this without hesitation. One of his sisters was my mother who loved him and appreciated all he did for her. He was also in my corner whenever I needed a shoulder to lean on. I love you uncle and you will always have a place in my heart. Your loving niece, Barbara
