Greg was such an amazing friend to our family.
When we moved to San Diego in 1995, his kindness was an essential part in our adaptation to a new country.
We were lucky to stay friends throughout the years, and also to meet his beautiful family.
Going back to San Diego as a family for the first time in 2024, Greg once again was there for us.
Our love goes out to Maria and Sabina.

Dear Greg,
We miss you so much. Growing up, our families were incredibly close—two of the few Chinese families in the neighborhood—and your kindness and gentleness always made me feel welcomed as part of your family. Your home was like a second home to me, and I will forever cherish the many dinners at your parents’ house and the time we spent playing pool, ping pong, and BB guns on the patio.

I was so happy to see you follow your passion and build a meaningful career working with marine animals, and later to watch you create such a beautiful life with Maria and Sabina. In your later years, I truly treasured our time together at UTC Mall, Benihana, and walking in the park.

Thank you for all the memories we shared. You are so loved and will be deeply missed. May you rest in peace. ❤️
