He has now transitioned from Labor to Reward, to be with our Heavenly Father...
Carmen and Family, may God's grace comfort you during these the most trying of times!
To my Omega Brother, I must say our last goodbye...!

Buddy Young was a true gentleman. His love of art, music, and architecture were evident throughout the stunning home that he and his lovely wife Carmen created here in San Diego. I first met Buddy when he came onsite as a project manager on a home I was working on. It wasn't love at first sight, sort of a New York vs. California thing, I guess. Eventually, however, we discovered each other's love of the arts, music in particular, and strong work ethic and with that the die was cast. Buddy became a friend and a mentor to me. I remember his grace and patience while working with each of the tradespeople when sorting out how we were to build his vision. He had an eye for detail and countless diagrams that he'd drawn himself, frankly, it was a bit overwhelming. He was a leader and a listener. He was a boss and a friend. He was unique and marched to his own drum and, honestly, I think that suited Buddy just fine. What a bright and beautiful human being! All of our lives are richer for having known Buddy and the void he's left won't be filled easily or quickly. God bless you Buddy Young, you were the best of us.
Buddy Young was a class act and a gentle human being. I worked in Telecom at NBC for many years and supported Buddy in different project's. He was a pleasure to work with and always gave me great advice. When I left Telecom for Broadcast Ops he was at my going away party and wished me well. My deepest condolences to Carmen as well. May he rest in peace.- Carlos Reyes
